Crank:
These Mopar Performance special heavy-duty cast steel crankshafts feature radiused fillets for the small block engines, and a 6-bolt pattern on the crank flange. Whether you're pulling or drag racing, these affordable cranks will get the job done.
Rods:
Forged from 5140 steel for outstanding strength and reliability and they come in both press-fit and bushed pin models. Their lightweight design places less stress on the rest of your rotating assembly to increase engine life and better handle high-rpm use. The rods are X-rayed, sonic-tested, magnafluxed, and shot-peened to stress-relieve the metal. They come with 12-point ARP Wave-Loc rod bolts (3/8 on small block 7/16 on big block) and are weight-matched to within two grams. The big end sizing is controlled by in-house CNC equipment to ensure precise machining and accurate fitment. Perfect choice for Small Block engines producing up to 500 horsepower.
Pistons:
Small Block Mopar Street/Strip Diamond Pistons are designed to fit most OEM open and closed chamber heads and will work with aftermarket Edelbrock & Indy heads. Can be used with small nitrous applications. Ratios are configured for .018" -.025" deck height @ 9.600". Standard 1/16" x 1/16" x 3/16" ring package (Rings not Included). Premium 8620 wrist pins are included. Gasket volume= 8.9cc, Top ring down from piston crown .310", Max valve diameter 2.070" intake and 1.625" exhaust valves. Valve relief depths .292" intake and .224" exhaust.
Bearings:
H series rod bearings have a medium level of eccentricity, high crush and rod bearings have a hardened steel back and thin overlay. These bearings also have enlarged chamfers for greater crankshaft fillet clearance and are made without flash plating for better seating.
P-Series main bearings are the oldest members of the Clevite 77 bearing family and are intended for high-revving engines. To compensate for the high-load factors and distortion in these engines, these bearings have higher eccentricity and a high crush factor. P-Series bearings are built on steel backings with extra-thin overlays to prevent overlay fatigue. In addition, the oil grooves on most applications extend all the way around both halves for better oiling.
