Oil Pump Drive Shaft W/Treated Steel Gear - Small Block

Fits: 273-360, 5.2& 5.9 Magnum

We now offer the chemically treated (melonized) steel gear mounted on our custom made heat treated1045 steel shaft for small block Chrysler engines.

The "treated" iron gear is a lifetime gear that can be used with any cam, cast or billet. The shafts are made exclusively for us and are available separately by ordering part #6222. The shaft and gear are assembled here in our shop.

NOTE: If you have any residue from a bronze gear on your camshaft gear, it MUST be removed or else it will act like a lapping material and wipe out both gears!

Any new (or cleaned) cam - roller, billet, cast, flat tappet, or what have you...cleaned means no residue from the old gear.
