Brushed Stainless Steel Plates with all stainless steel hardware!

This is a Hughes Exclusive 2 piece intake valley cover designed to work with single plane intakes. To use it with a dual plane intake you will ahe to grind the bottom of your intake for clearance. Works with low deck "B" or raised deck "RB" engines These beauties are made of beautiful stainless steel. This kit comes complete with 1 valley cover plate ( 2 pieces), 6 button head screws, center retainer screws and installation instructions.This can be installed and removed with both heads bolted in place. This version features extra ribbing across the span of the plate to prevent flexing. This plate is designed to work with stock iron or Edelbrock RPM cylinder heads only. This kit can be installed without removing either of your heads from the engine.

NOTE: This valley plate will work with INDY EZ and 440-1 heads as well as the Edlebrock Victor heads.

If you are using this valley plate with a dual plane intake manifold, the heat crossover on the bottom of the manifold will have to be clearanced to fit.

Assembly Tip: Due to the expansion of the head and intake manifold (especially with aluminum cylinder heads, it is important to use the proper sealer on the sides of the valley tray. We recommend Permatex Ultra Gray. Other sealers are not as tolerant of joint movement tolerance and can leak.
