the sensor without permitting water or engine contaminants toseep into the casing. This unique feature allows reference air to enter the sensor and immediately adjust to altitude and barometric changes in the environment.
ALUMINUM-OXIDE TRAP LAYER keeps silicone and lead outside
the ceramic element via DENSO’s exclusive design, preventing damage to the platinum electrode from oxygen destroyers like racing gas or fuel and lead additives.
A DOUBLE-PROTECTION COVER on most applications maintains
proper unit temperature for quicker response times.
STAINLESS STEEL HOUSING resists corrosion and
contamination with a rugged, watertight body.
