This wrap has a direct heat rating of 1,200 degrees and a radiant heat rating of 2,000 degrees. Design Engineering HT Silicone Coating spray is highly recommended for DEI glass fiber wrap to penetrate, seal and protect and prolong the lifespan of exhaust wrap.
Use Design Engineering's asbestos-free exhaust wrap as a heat barrier to keep the engine and driving compartments cool. It also keeps wires and hoses from melting under extreme conditions and controls heat in the exhaust system for a performance boost.
